Nestled in the Isère region, the resort of Les Deux Alpes stretches from roughly 1300m to 3600m in altitude. Thanks to its renowned high-altitude terrain, it ranks among the highest ski areas in Europe, ensuring excellent snow quality throughout the season. This elevated setting makes it a true haven for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
Around 75% of the ski area sits above 2000m, which means you can enjoy reliable conditions from December to May, with natural spring snow adding to the experience later in the season. The domain offers more than 220km of marked pistes for all levels and spreads across several contrasting mountain faces. Some are bathed in sunshine, others feel more remote and rugged, and each one provides sweeping views and long, enjoyable descents.
The resort is also known for its spacious, lively village centre, lined with shops, restaurants and bars that create a warm après-ski atmosphere. When you want to relax, you can choose from a swimming pool, an ice rink and dedicated wellness facilities, as well as a wide range of activities including paragliding, ice climbing and panoramic helicopter flights. It is an inviting destination where you can balance exhilaration with complete relaxation.
