Les 2 Alpes attempted to break a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people taking part in a torchlit descent this week, but sadly fell short by only around 200 people.

2,602 people took part, but it wasn't quite enough to take the new record. That aside, conditions on the pistes up on the glacier have been great, as you can see in this video from our friends at the Tourist office.

The good news is that there will be plenty of snow heading our way on Monday and Tuesday next week with around 70-80cm expected on the forecasts.. fingers crossed!
