Video Reports from Les 2 Alpes

Looks like these guys have had a great week, spending time in Les Deux Alpes & Alpe d'Huez.. check out their best bits from over 16 hours of footage (I wouldn't have wanted to try & edit all that!)

Rod's been over to La Grave in today's snow report. The snow isn't too bad over there but there are a lot of crevasses still visible.

Conditions up on the glacier remain good, with the piste crews keeping the lower runs into resort in good condition. We could still do with some more snow though, so keep doing those snow dances!

Conditions up on the glacier are great, powder everywhere which not many people seem to be skiing!

The glacier has stayed closed today to high winds. There's been plenty of snow up top but rain down at resort level.

Temperatures should warm up today & tomorrow with a little bit of snow later today & tomorrow, returning to blue skies again after that.

Snow conditions are still really good after last week. It's been busy but fresh snow has still come to resort and the off piste areas have been realatively untouched.

Conditions remain the same in Les 2 Alpes at the moment, but there is a little snow due on the forecasts later this week.

Conditions high up are still good, and with no fresh snow on the forecast the high altitude pistes are the place to be.

Great snow conditions across the 2 Alpes area, especially compared to other parts of the Alps, for example in Italy, where they have been making snow.

Lifts opened this weekend and conditions are good with around half of the lifts open. We could do with some more snow, which thankfully looks like it's due this week.

The best of the skiing this week will be in the morning, up on the glacier. The Valley Blanche area is still yet to fully open so we could do with some more snow for that to happen.

It was so cold in Les 2 Alpes this week that the glacier had to close. Temperatures of around -35 were recorded which meant that the lifts and workers couldn't operate up there. 

As always at this time of year, timing your skiing is crucial to get the best of the conditions. Up on the glacier of course it's still winter snow, but lower down is starting to feel more springlike in the afternoons.

We've had lots of snow across the alps in the last week, which is great news for anyone heading to Les 2 Alpes between now and the end of the season.

These guys look like they've had a great time in 2 Alpes.. there's a lot of falling over (everyone needs to start somewhere!) watch out for the caterpillars, head stand and some good park action!

That's it after 7 years the Kumiyama event has been held for the last time in Les Deux Alpes... *sob* The weather's not been great recently, but thankfully over the course of the event riders managed to make it up to get all Japanese and throw...

There may not be many options to ski back into 2Alpes right now, but who cares when the snowpark is in such great condition! Take a look at this video from Sunday.. :-)

Kicking off on 24th October the event opens with 'Enjoy the Glacier' weekend with with snowboard tests, competitions, pro-riders, skateboarding, tattoo artists, rock concerts and DJs.

Big snowfall has given us epic snow conditions this weekend!

This week has been pretty sunny, but worry not there is snow due at around 2,000 metres and another dump predicted in the middle of the week next week.

There's good snow cover in Les 2 Alpes at the moment, with the best conditions up on the glacier.

It's looking likely that we're going to have a mixed bag of weather this week, with snow clouds and sunshine mixed in.

Snow depths are currently around 40cm on the lower slopes with 160cm at the top of the glacier in 2 Alpes.
