Local gastronomy market featuring regional products
Venosc celebrates its local market, selling fresh local and regional produce and typical Alpine foods, cheeses, saucissons every Tuesday afternoon during the high season.
Venosc is a charming little village just eight minutes on the cable car from Les 2 Alpes. In winter, the weekly market is held in the 'Salle Polyvalente' from 15:00 to 19:00, whilst in summertime, the market shifts outdoors to the ski lift car park and is on from 08:00 to noon.

The Rise Festival just before Christmas features big name bands and DJs, while other big winter events include the Mad Snow Race in January. In the summer, snow camps and freestyle ski competitions take place on the glacier, while the legendary mountain bike race, the Mountain of Hell, takes place at the end of June.
