Compact resort that stretches out along the main road where most of the shops, restaurants and accommodations can be found here.

Le Village 1800, a new area of Les Deux Alpes, is located on the left as you enter the resort and is composed of purpose-built apartment blocks and holiday clubs. You can also stay at two smaller, traditional villages in the vicinity.
Venosc is a medieval village only accessible by gondola from Les Deux Alpes, and Mont de Lans is the quiet village that you pass through on the way up to Les Deux Alpes from the main road.

For two weeks at the start of December, you are likely to see some of the most valuable and talented dogs around on the slopes of Les Deux Alpes.
Take the first lift up with the pisteurs and get the first tracks of the day.
Avenue de la Muzelle, the main street in Les Deux Alpes, transforms into a magical festive arena where you can take a stroll, sip a vin chaud and lose yourself in the festive spirit.
Step inside the heart of Les Deux Alpes’ newest lift and discover the engineering behind the Jandri three-S. Every Tuesday from late December, with extra sessions during the February holidays, you can join a guided visit to the intermediate station at two-thousand-six-hundred metres.
If you've not had your fill of skiing or snowboarding by the time the lifts close for the day, you can get a few more runs in on these floodlit slopes.

The Rise Festival just before Christmas features big name bands and DJs, while other big winter events include the Mad Snow Race in January. In the summer, snow camps and freestyle ski competitions take place on the glacier, while the legendary mountain bike race, the Mountain of Hell, takes place at the end of June.
