Beginner trails that are family friendly and make good practise runs
The Deux Alpes Bike Park has green downhill trails for those of you looking to practise your skills and get more comfortable, or those of you who just want a bit of fun on a nice, easy track.
On the Vallée Blanche side of the valley, and starting from the top of the VB lift, is a 5km trail with descends -440m back to the bottom of the lift from where you can start over.
Or head over to the other green trail on the other side of the valley. It's quite a wide, gravelly track or fire road at the top and the corners are also wide and flowy so you can practise with confidence and get better at handling your bike.
Accessed from the top of the Diable high speed chairlift. Take a left from the top of the lift and head over towards the Jandri lift, which you'll pass underneath. This trail is longer at 7km and descends for -730m, so a good one to test your stamina and braking. There are some great views from not only the top of the Diable lift, but around half way down and also 2/3 of the way down where you can stop and admire the Veneon valley below.
