For the seventh season running, 2Alpes hosts members of the Association Nationale pour l’Etude de la Neige et des Avalanches (ANENA) as they and their dogs train for the Brevet National de Maitre chien d'Avalanche or national certificate for avalanche dog handlers, a qualification essential for both dog and master before they can work in resort.
Over 20 dog and handler teams come from all over France as well as nearby Itlay to attend the courses, which run over a period of three weeks.. Look out for hard-working dogs digging up the off piste.
