Le QG is a lively bar and restaurant in Les Deux Alpes, famous for its brunch menu, creative cocktails and relaxed, buzzy vibe. Guests can enjoy pancakes, pizzas, burgers or tapas while soaking up the energetic atmosphere. Popular with both locals and holidaymakers, it’s the perfect spot for a casual meal, après-ski drinks or late-night music, making Le QG a favourite destination for anyone looking to combine great food, drinks and fun in one vibrant setting.

They also do a brunch menu, with sweet and savoury pancakes, avocado toast, bagels, eggs and bacon.  At the bar you'll find a wide selection of cocktails, as well as classic bar drinks. Sports games, live music and DJ sets are a regular occurrence.

2. Bouchon des Alpes Restaurant

Traditional French cuisine served either on the sunny terrace or the comfortable dining area, for brunch lunch and dinner. 

Affordable lunch menus are proposed each day, with varied options available as one, two or three courses.

Inspirations from the lunch menu include, mussels and fries, cordon bleu, and salmon terrine. On the à la carte menu you'll find a selection of seafood options, burgers and grilled meats, as well as local specialities of fondue and charcuterie.

They also do brunch, suitable for vegetarians and meat-eaters, with homemade cakes, patisseries, yoghurts, eggs and charcuteries, and juices.

3. La Grange Restaurant

Located next to the ice rink, this restaurant offers an extensive menu, with Savoyard specialities like fondue and raclette, as well as pizzas, grilled meats and home made desserts. A warm and friendly atmosphere with a large interior, making it the perfect place for large groups, families and friends and we hear the moules frites and steak tartare are great! 

Their specialities also include choucroute (sauerkraut) with sausages, bacon or even salmon and mussels, as well as pasta and pizza.

Open every day. In winter, from 08:00 to 23:00; in summer from 09:00 to midnight.

4. Smithy's Tavern Restaurant

Smithy’s in Les Deux Alpes is a lively restaurant and bar serving generous portions of grilled meats, steaks and sizzling fajitas. The gourmet burgers are a standout, packed with flavour and served with all the classic trimmings. With its vibrant, energetic atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for a hearty dinner followed by a fun night out in the heart of the resort, making it a favourite for both locals and visitors looking for great food and a lively après-ski scene.

The restaurant is upstairs, whilst downstairs the bar is a go-to for live music, drinks and a proper party vibe.

5. Doume's Lodge Bar and Restaurant

This is a really popular place for both the locals and holiday makers too. With a cosy rustic feel about it and large portions on offer, you won't go away feeling hungry. Specialities include locally produced meats cooked over a wood fire, as well as some traditional Savoyarde favourites like raclette and tartiflette. They also do a mean wood fired pizza and have a varied selection of wine and champagnes in their cellar.

They have an interior bar with billiards table, a bar and hot tub outside on the terrace and a full service restaurant, making it a great choice for a lively après-ski or a relaxing evening meal.

Open every day from 11:00 to 02:00 non stop. Call to reserve a table.

6. Slide Planet - The Shackleton Restaurant

Restaurant open for lunch and dinner, serving local Savoyarde specialities, as well as classic French dishes.

Affordable lunch menus are on offer each day, with varied options available as two or three courses. Their signature dish is the matured côte de boeuf, which can be ordered by the kilo and is great for multiple people sharing. 

Inspirations from the lunch menu include veal and tagliatelle and pork shoulder. On the à la carte menu you'll find more grilled meat dishes, gourmet salads and burgers, fish of the day, as well as fondue.

There is an excellent and reasonably-priced wine list, as well as a wide selections of cocktails and classic bar drinks. 

Open daily for lunch and dinner.

7. Le Petit Charbon de Bois Restaurant

Les Deux Alpes

This restaurant puts a new twist on the traditional Pierrade (hot stone) with an individual indoor charcoal BBQ on your table to grill meats.

The restaurant's speciality is fondue and their original charcoal BBQ for grilling meats, which can also cook raclette cheese below. This is a popular combination for families and groups, as it's an original and fun communal cooking and eating experience at your table.

There are other Savoyard options on the menu, including grilled meat dishes, tartiflettes, charcuterie and cheese boards, as well as an enticing desert menu. There is a good and reasonably-priced wine list to wash down your meal.

The restaurant is cosy inside and had limited tables, but if the weather is nice enough there is outdoor seating and blankets are provided to keep you warm.

Open every day from 11:30 - 14:00 and from 18:00 - 22:30.

Worth noting is that at lunchtime most restaurants will offer a well-priced 'Plat du Jour' (dish of the day), normally consisting of locally-sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. Most, if not all of the restaurants in Les Deux Alpes are child friendly, especially if you let them know in advance. Evening meals are normally served from 19:00, and the restaurants are quieter at this time than later on.
