Winners were picked from a publicly-voted shortlist by Martin & Graham Bell, ski coach Warren Smith & the Telegraph's ski & snowboard editor Henry Druce.

And the main winners are..

Most Improved North American Resort - Breckenridge, Colorado, USA (runners up Jackson Hole & Sun Peaks)

Most Improved European Resort - Ischgl, Austria (runners up Laax & Saalbach)

Best Up And Coming Resort - Jasna, Slovakia (runner up Panorama, BC, Canada)

Most Improved Family Resort - Valmorel, France (runners up Les Menuires & Hemsdal, Norway)

Best UK Tour Operator - Crystal Ski (runner-up Mark Warner)

Best Specialist Tour Operator - Nonstop Ski and Snowboard (runner-up Erna Low)

Best Specialist Travel Agent - Mountain Beds (runner-up Ski Solutions)

Best UK Chalet Company - Treeline Chalets (runners-up Alpoholics, Le Ski)
