Le Saloon is known for its great selection of draught beers, best enjoyed with a few tapas to share among friends. If you’re feeling hungry, the menu features a tempting range of homemade burgers - from classic favourites to gourmet creations with a surprising twist, all inspired by the bold flavours of America.

It’s not just about food and drink, though. Challenge your friends to a game of billiards, darts, or table football, or simply soak up the vibrant energy of the place. 4. Les Lutins Restaurant & Bar

This pub style bar and restaurant has been around since 1959 and is perfect as a great place to catch up on the latest sporting events, or sit out in the sun on their lovely terrace.

Located at the Hotel Les Lutins you can relax at the bar, play your friends at table football, warm up with a homemade vin chaud or sit out on the terrace with a refreshing beer enjoying the sunshine and the views.

At the restaurant, they offer a small but tasty menu at lunchtime and dinner, with regularly changing dishes. Favourites such as home made burgers, fondue, steak, fresh pastas, hearty soups and a daily plat du jour are all on offer.

At the Cabane des Lutins snack bar you can snack on crepes, waffles and ice creams on the terrace.

The bar is open throughout the winter season from 08:30 to 01:00 and the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

Motown Cafe, Les Deux Alpes interior

5. Motown Café

Les Deux Alpes

Motown café and bar is situated in the heart of Les Deux Alpes. 

Serving a range of hot drinks, beers, wines and cocktails, this is a cosy spot to hunker down in when the weather is bad or to relax in the sun on the terrace. 

The bar is open everyday from 09:00 to 22:00 and happy hour starts at 18:00, just in time for après-ski. Delicious platters of tapas are also offered free of charge from 18:00 if you fancy a savoury nibble with your drink.

Slide Planet - The Shackleton Restaurant, 2 Alpes

6. Slide Planet (Shackleton) Restaurant and Bar

Restaurant and bar with inside and outside seating, part of the Ski Set ski hire store, but it has easily gained its own reputation for great food and drinks.

The bar is open throughout the winter season and can be a great place to grab a quick refreshment, or settle in for the afternoon in the cosy atmosphere. There is an extensive cocktails and shots list, as well as a decent wine selection and some excellent beers on tap.

On the menu you'll find French classics such as côte du boeuf, roast pork, and various traditional Savoyard dishes including hot pot cheeses and fondues.
