On-piste / Mountain Restaurants in Les 2 Alpes — 8 of Our Favourites

The restaurant has been awarded the "Maitre Restaurateur" label for their high culinary standards, and have dedicated as much care to their brasserie as their restaurant.

Panelling, crisp white and crimson tablecloths, porcelain tableware and food inspired by the morning's trip to the market: the chef creates a new lunchtime menu every day. For dinner, they offer a carefully designed four-course menu and, twice a week, a dessert buffet.

In the brasserie you will find raclette, tartiflette and other local specialities: comforting, substantial dishes, perfect for enjoying on the south-facing terrace at the bottom of the pistes when you have just skied all the way down. Lunch specials served daily from 12:00 to 15:00.

They have a nice terrace to dine out on. Open every day during the winter season, as well as in summer (weather permitting), from 09:00 to 17:00. 

Find them near the bottom of the Vallée Blanche lift. 

Open all day throughout the winter from 10:00 to 16:00.

This popular restaurant is easy to access right at the foot of the slopes and in the centre of the Village area of Les 2 Alpes. Take a break for lunch during your ski day, ease into a terrace table for an après-ski beer at the end of your day on the mountain, or head out on foot in the evening for dinner. This restaurant is in prime position and the views are fantastic.

The varied menu offers options for a quick and easy crepe or pizza, as well as more intimate French dining, with a mouth-watering selection of roasted or grilled meat and fish dishes, charcuterie and cheese boards, burgers, and Savoyard fondue and raclette.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous, all at a price that won't break the bank.

Typical mountain food including tartiflette, omelettes, steak, etc. Good home-made desserts and crêpes. Reasonably priced, you are also welcome to grab a beer and sit on the terrace to soak up the sun.

Accessible on skis/snowboard from the La Fée chairlift in the Mont-de-Lans sector. Open from 10:00 to 16:00 in winter, and from 10:30 to 16:00 in the summer, closed on Saturday in summer. Group bookings will need to reserve in advance.

This mountain chalet boasts a sunny south facing terrace, perfect for a break from skiing. Apart from the restaurant, where they serve daily specials as well as Montagnard cuisine, there is a snack bar on the terrace with take away service.

Open in winter from 09:00 to 17:00 (restaurant service from 11:35 to 14:45). In summer, open from 10:00 to 17:00 (restaurant service from 11:35 to 14:45).

With two different dining options available; a snack / fast food area and a table service restaurant, you will find the one that suits you best for a lunch break in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Just fancy a drink? They also have a lounge bar and and huge sunny terrace with seating available for up to 250 people. 

Open daily in winter from 08:00 to 17:00, and in summer from 07:00 to 14:30.

Warm up by the fireplace and enjoy a mixture of local dishes and more international cuisine, all brought to you with a fast & friendly service. Specialities include foie-gras, salads, onion soup, caviar, gratins, grilled meat, omelettes, pasta and home-made desserts.

There is also a bar on the terrace, serving cocktails, fresh fruit juices and a selection of cigars. The snack bar serves sandwiches, chips, hot dogs and cakes.

Open in winter and summer every day from 09:00 to 19:00. You can book dinner for groups of 12 people or more (they organise transport).
