Luxury hotels

2 Alpes doesn't have any 5-star hotels but there are two really good four-star options with great restaurants and other facilities for the more discerning visitor to the resort. Chalet Hotel Mounier is one of the oldest buildings here and has been run as a hotel by the Mounier family since 1933. It offers comfortable rooms, mountain views across the Veneon Valley and its own spa and indoor pool. The hotel is known for its top class restaurant where the chef and his team produce some of the best food in resort. Les Deux Alpes 1800 in the Village on the way into resort, is part of the international Belambra Group and offers a good four-star standard accommodation with the added bonus of stunning views over the Muzelle and easy access to the Village chairlift.

Group-friendly hotels

The UCPA has a mix of rooms sleeping two, four or six people. They offer a fully inclusive package, lift pass, equipment hire, instructors, breakfast lunch and dinner. They even put on an entertainment programme each week to give you extra things to do once the sun goes down.

Family-friendly hotels

Hotel Valentin, tucked away off the main road and close the Belle Etoile lift, offers a supervised evening kid's club during school holidays over Christmas, as well as February and Easter. Its quiet off-road location and convenient piste access make it perfect for families. Ibiza Hotel over by the Diable ski lift has a number of duplex family suites that can sleep up to 5 people. They also offer a free shuttle service to the lifts if you or your little ones don't want to trek to the pistes each day. Villages Club du Soleil Deux Alpes in the Village at 1800, is a great spot for families with its all-inclusive offer including ski school for both adults and children, as well as creche facilities and off-snow activities for youngsters of all ages.

Hotels on the piste

Three-star Souleil’Or Hotel has a perfect location right next to the Belle Etoile chairlift for speedy access into the main ski area and the beginner area at Cretes. Come back to the sunny terrace for lunch and relax in the spa at the end of a day’s skiing. South-facing, three-star Hotel Les Melezes, right next to the Viking drag lift, is an ideal spot to keep tabs on your beginners while relaxing over lunch on the sunny terrace. Family-run since 1968, the Melezes offers the perfect on-piste location. Côte Brune Hotel at the other end of town is a popular après ski spot as well as a comfortable three-star hotel, thanks to its Umbrella Bar at the foot of the slopes and sunny ski in/ski out terrace. Traditional chalet décor and an in-house spa make this a relaxing and cosy place to stay.

Maeva Appart-Hotel

Hotels on a budget

There are quite a few hotels that fall into this category in Les 2 Alpes, including a number of Maeva branded aparthotels where you can book an apartment with some hotel facilities available. If your hotel doesn't have its own swimming pool, you can make use of the central outdoor heated pool in resort which you'll get access to with your summer or winter lift pass. If you want to dine out, there are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from.
